Sanctuary is a sound installation composed, recorded and produced by Mervin Wong. Inspired by the synnergy of art installed within the area, Mervin Wong’s Sanctuary seeks to be the ether of live that weaves through this area in harmony.
Over a period of 24 months, Mervin Wong collaborated with Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music as well as Sengkang General Hospital who supported the development of the work. The artist proceeded to unfold layers from recordings, textures and nature to create Sanctuary.
